Bio

I was born in Norway and have lived, worked, and studied in Norway, Poland, the United States, and Australia. My journey as an artist has been shaped by these different places, cultures, and experiences. I studied Printmaking and Fine Arts at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and have since presented many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions internationally.

I live and work in Sydney, Australia, where I continue to explore painting as a way of making sense of the world around me and the emotions that move through it.

Artist Statement

Painting is both an exploration and a conversation for me. I work intuitively, responding to music, memory, emotion, and the physical qualities of the materials themselves. My process is one of building and removing, adding layers, obscuring marks, and allowing unexpected moments to emerge.

I am interested in what happens when certainty gives way to curiosity. Rather than beginning with a fixed image or outcome, I allow each painting to find its own direction. There is a balance between intention and surrender, between what I control and what the work reveals to me along the way.

My paintings are not about telling a specific story. Instead, they offer a space for reflection and feeling. Through texture, gesture, and atmosphere, I hope to create work that invites viewers to pause, look closely, and connect with something that may be difficult to put into words.
